Authentication & Account Security
Your Dollarwise credentials are handled through industry-standard authentication infrastructure. We don't store raw passwords, and access tokens use short-lived sessions with secure storage practices on-device.

Bank Connection Security
When you connect your bank, we never see or store your banking credentials. That part is handled entirely by a regulated third-party that specializes in exactly this, using read-only access scoped to only what's needed to power your budget view. Your bank login never touches our servers.

Data in Transit
Everything transmitted between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit.

What We Actually Access
We only pull in what's necessary to show your finances: account balances, transactions, and institution info. No ability to move money, no write access to your accounts whatsoever.
